Thank you for taking time to learn more about our staff.

Lisa Glavin
I am honored to say I am the Director of Sunrise Children's School.  My education and career began in Ohio where I earned a Pre-Law Degree and worked for the Children's Services Board and Juvenile Court as an investigator and liason for children and families impacted by abuse.  From there I moved to Boston and worked with Wellesley Community Children's Center Directing programs throughout the community.  In 2004 I made my way south to beautiful Charleston where I was able to complete a Masters Degree and become a Licensed Clinical Therapist.  Being a part of this school brings great joy to my life and I look forward to our continued growth and success.

Anne Forsyth

My name is Anne Forsyth and I am the lead teacher in the two year old program. I recently moved here from Atlanta, GA. While in Atlanta I was a lead teacher in the two year old program and an assistant teacher in the three year old program at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, which is the second largest preschool in Georgia, educating around 400 students annually. My degree is from the University of Georgia and I look forward to continuing my education in the future. I have ten year old twin daughters and a four year old little girl. They keep me very busy but in my spare time I love to play sports, enjoy fishing and anything that involves the ocean...I just love being outside. Please know that providing quality care and education for your children are my utmost concern and desire. I am so happy to be joining Sunrise Children’s School.

I have always had a passion to teach and I would like to eventually be an Elementary School teacher. I moved around a lot growing up, but have lived in Charleston for 6 1/2 years now and love it. I love movies, reading, traveling and my little dog, Emma. I'm looking forward to a fun year with your children!
